About
Julia Devine is an early-career science illustrator with a background in fine art. Skilled in hand-rendering in a variety of traditional and digital media, her affinity for realism and love of the natural world translate well into her career pursuit.
Having recently completed studies in the 2025 Science Illustration Certificate Program at California State University Monterey Bay and a 4 month long internship with the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI), Julia hopes to continue on a path of collaborating with researchers in a variety of science related fields. Her goal is to pursue a full time career sharing her skills with researchers and educators.
